Scramble suits 'em to a tee

High Point — Over 45 people took part in the Premarket Golf Scramble at the Grandover Resort here earlier this month.
Furniture/Today and Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. cosponsored the event.
A foursome from retailer Whit-Ash Furnishings of Columbia, S.C., took home first place honors. The group from Racing Furniture came in second, with one of the groups from Magnussen Home finishing third.
Jeff Cook of Magnussen Home won the longest-drive competition, and Ed Roth of HTL International won the closest-to-the-pin contest.
