Bemco Sleep 111 E. Green Dr.

  • New Posture Perfection model features a terry cloth cover quilted to super soft foam. Bed has a zoned latex core with polyurethane side rails and a three-inch visco topper. The single-sided bed retails at $1,499. Also showing a Posture Perfection model with a solid polyurethane core, a three-inch visco topper and a spun rayon cover. It retails at $899.

  • Marketing incentives include a Myrtle Beach vacation package, the 40th annual Bemco golf tournament and another vacation package to be announced at market.

Carolina Mattress Guild Business 85 and North Drive, Thomasville

Expanding the offerings in its Safe Dreams line of open flame fire-resistant bedding, first introduced this past April. Company is adding at least eight models in the lower price points, from $199 to $499, as well as a number of new higher-priced, FR-protected beds. Also will introduce new FR bedding for children. The Safe Dreams line is protected by Elk Technologies' VersaShield product.

Englander PS 100

  • Adding five beds to the Tension Ease line, which debuted in April. The new models, all with encased springs, feature a coil-on-coil innerspring unit. Retails range from $999 to $1,999.

  • Also expanding its Nature's Finest line with four new latex core beds in its Laytex program. The beds feature 100% natural rubber from Sri Lanka. Retails range from $999 to $1,699.

Fraenkel CP 160

Pillowtop mattress in one-sided Maintenance Free program retails at $599 in queen, an expansion of the program to include midpriced pillowtops. Also introducing an ultra-plush, special-edition model at the $399 price point. And a sports bunkie, featuring a sports design, will retail at $49 in twin.

Gold Bond IHFC M-1318

Showing its expanded premium line of futons and marketing materials in an expanded showroom. The leading producer of futons is showing with SIS Covers and Adonis Furniture.

Hypnos MS 300

Introducing its Zip & Link system, which turns two twin extra-long mattresses into a king-sized mattress. The zipper system is offered on the Eminence, Empress and Sovereign models already in the Hypnos line. Retails range from $6,000 to $10,000. This system makes it easier to deliver king-sized bedding to consumers who live in tight quarters.

Kingsdown IHFC H-704

Expanding its DormoDiagnostics program with several new beds. The CO-Z retails at $3,599, while the VZ-123 and VZ-234 both retail for $1,750. The Body System beds, designed for four different body types, retail at $2,999. All of the new Kingsdown beds feature Belgian velour covers.

King Koil Emerywood Country Club, 800 Country Club Drive, High Point

Introducing its new Jaclyn Smith Home Bedding Collection by King Koil at a reception Oct. 16 at Emerywood Country Club. Three categories of bedding lines are offered, retailing from $699 to $3,499. The program also includes a variety of commercials and point-of-sale materials, all featuring the well-known celebrity, who brings her licensing program to the mattress industry with the new collection.

Sealy Office Parkway, Trinity

Introducing new single-sided Stearns & Foster lineup that the company says incorporates a "superior new design." The line employs "advanced production and design technologies, as well as even more exquisite materials," according to Sealy officials. The new line will be shipped to retailers in the first half of 2004.

Serta CTT, 2nd Floor

Introducing new Serta Perfect Sleeper, Perfect Night and Masterpiece models, offered in both one- and two-sided versions. All of Serta's 2004 models incorporate the company's proprietary FireBlocker system, which resists open-flame ignition. FireBlocker is a blend of natural and synthetic fibers used in the outer layers of the mattress and box spring. Serta is the first national brand to introduce new FR models.

Southern Textiles IHFC G-465

  • Introducing an expanded pillow program that includes latex foam, visco foam, goose down and a high loft model made with special conjugated fiber. Pillows retail for $39 or less.

  • Comprehensive sheet program features everything from high thread-count, jumbo-sheet sheets to promotional sets that make strong linen promotions. The 1,000-thread count, four-piece queen set will retail for under $200.

  • Also showing expanded offerings in daybed ensembles, bunk linen sets, mattress pads, canopy sets and futon covers.

United Sleep Products 114 N. Main St., 3rd Floor

  • Bedding introductions include the Envira, the Accolade and the Allure. Envira is offered in three different firmnesses and utilizes components new to United Sleep Products: Resilitex, Quiltflex and Ultra-Fresh antimicrobial treatment. Accolade and Allure are prototype ultra-premium introductions with foam-encased innersprings, Resilitex foam and visco-elastic foam. Retails range from $999 to $1,299.

  • Futons introductions, by Simmons Futons, include the Superbox, the first Fed Ex-able futon sleep sofa on the market, according to the company. It includes a four-position frame and a premium mattress with upholstered covers and coordinating covers and pillows. Also included is a zero inventory option: the product ships directly to consumers' homes.
