Brown Jordan taps Herman for sales post

Pompano Beach, Fla. — Les Herman has joined high-end outdoor furniture resource Brown Jordan International as vice president of sales, home furnishings.
Separately, Brown Jordan said it had agreed with manufacturer and distributor Hartman Group to distribute Brown Jordan products in northern Europe.
Herman, a 31-year industry veteran, most recently was vice president of sales and marketing, Southeast region, for Natuzzi Americas. Previously, he worked for Elite Leather, Lane, Broyhill, Singer and as an independent sales representative.
In a newly created position at Brown Jordan, Herman is responsible for the development of the home furnishings retail channel.
He reports to Bill Echols, president of BJI's retail market division, who said, "We are thrilled to have attracted Les for this position, as he is a highly-achieved leader within the industry."
Herman remains based in Florida.
