High Point — Scott Senatore, named executive vice president of the Furniture Manufacturers Credit Assn. two months ago, has left to take a job outside the industry.
Barry Wood, former executive vice president who was set to retire Aug. 30 after helping Senatore assume the post, has agreed to stay on for now, said Dave Carpenter, FMCA vice president and director of credit for La-Z-Boy Financial Services in Greensboro, N.C.
"We were surprised and disappointed by Scott's departure, but we are moving forward," Carpenter said. The FMCA board will discuss filling the post during its annual meeting later this month in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Senatore left to join Baker & Taylor, a media supplier in Charlotte.
