Majestic Rug taps Miller for sales post

Closter, N.J. — Brian P. Miller has been named to the new post of Eastern and Southeastern regional manager for Majestic Rug Co.
The appointment was sparked by the company's rapid growth in both small and large rugs, said President Steve Couri.
Miller has been an independent sales representative for such rug resources as 828 International, Central Oriental and Sphinx by Oriental Weavers. His duties at Majestic include hiring independent sales agents. Miller also will be involved in product development and a new e-commerce site. He reports to Couri.
In other expansion moves, Majestic has purchased a new headquarters and opened a permanent New York showroom. In September, the company will move to a 13,500-square-foot office, retail and warehouse facility in Closter near the current headquarters. The showroom, at 261 Fifth Avenue, suite 706, will be open for the New York Home Textiles Market in September.
