Atmosphere enters New York

New York — Atmosphere by Shelley Reich has opened a 5,000-square-foot, upscale home furnishings store here at 121 Wooster St. in Manhattan's Soho district, in a former art gallery.
Brian Rosso is the store's general manager. Salespeople have interior design degrees, and the store offers "approachably elegant" pieces and collections for the living room, dining room, bedroom and study.
Owner Shelley Reich also has a flagship Atmosphere store in San Francisco, opened in 2000.
Both stores are supplied by a factory in Los Angeles, also owned by Reich.
