Becker, Minn. — Italian leather and fabric upholstery maker Natuzzi has opened a gallery at Becker Furniture World, a family-owned business here.
The 5,000-square-foot gallery features 28 Natuzzi models in styles ranging from contemporary to traditional, in both leather and microfiber covers.
To mark the opening of the gallery, Natuzzi's Sofá delle Muse, in currant-colored leather and the longest sofa ever created according to the Guinness Book of World Records, made an appearance.
Becker Furniture World was founded in 1978 by Doug and Julie Huseby. Originally a 500-square-foot distribution center with two employees and $175,000 in first-year sales, Becker has grown to nearly 300,000 square feet, with annual sales of more than $40 million. Currently, the retailer has over 275 employees.
Natuzzi, founded in 1959 by Pasquale Natuzzi, is Italy's largest furniture manufacturer, exporting to 123 markets on five continents.
