Durinick joins Broyhill

Lenoir, N.C. — Marie Durinick has joined Broyhill as director of upholstery merchandising, a new position.
She is responsible for the merchandising of all Broyhill upholstery products. Durinick began her furniture career in 1976 with retailer Levitz, where she held various merchandising posts. Most recently, she was senior upholstery buyer for the 120-store Levitz and Seaman's chain.
Durinick reports to Jeff Katz, vice president of merchandising at Broyhill.
"I am very pleased to have Marie Durinick head our upholstery merchandising division," said Katz. "With over 25 years' experience in the furniture industry, she brings a tremendous amount of knowledge to this position. She has an excellent understanding of the retail environment and what consumers are looking for and want in upholstery products."
