High Point —
Purnell Furniture Services has opened a 20,000-square-foot warehouse here designed for the distribution of furniture.
The building, with six freight doors, includes a full-service repair facility equipped with halogen lighting to inspect outgoing merchandise, and has more than 2,000 square feet of racked space for client use.
"Our expanding North Carolina client base has prompted the need for this new facility," said Richard Purnell, president of the Manassas, Va.-based delivery company. "From this facility we can serve clients in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia."
The company also has facilities in Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Tampa, Fla., and is on the Web at www.purnellusa.com.
