Christian groups set 2 breakfasts

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 31, 2003

Two breakfasts sponsored by Christian groups here this week are designed to lift the spirits of marketgoers.

On Wednesday, April 2, at 7:30 a.m., the Furniture Fellowship Organization will sponsor the Ninth Annual Prayer Breakfast in the International Home Furnishings Center ballroom on the 11th floor of the Green wing. The featured speaker will be Horst Schulze, former president and chief executive officer of Ritz-Carlton Hotels and now a board member of Cancer Treatment Centers of America and a new luxury hotel company.

Tickets are available at the door for $15, which includes breakfast. For more information, contact An Delehanty at (336) 449-4600 ext. 221.

On Saturday, April 5, from 7 to 8 a.m., the Master's Table newsletter, a faith-based publication to the furniture industry, along with Noble's Restaurant, health foods maker Revival Soy and WTRU-AM 830 will sponsor a "live market news breakfast" at Noble's, 101 S. Main St. Speakers include Nathan Tabor of Revival Soy, Jon Koch, publisher of the newsletter, and Jonathan Lewis of First Wesleyan Church in High Point.

The cost is $7, which covers the continental breakfast, and reservations may be made on Noble's Web site at www.jbnoblesrestaurants.com or by calling (336) 889-3354.
