R. Dewey and Doris G. Browning, Browning's Fine Furniture

Owensboro, Ky. — R. Dewey Browning, chief executive officer of Browning's Fine Furniture here, and his wife, Doris G. Browning, retired vice president of the retailer, have died in an auto accident. He was 75, and still active in the store he founded 55 years ago. She was 73.
Survivors include a son, Scott Browning, president of Browning's, a daughter, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
