By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 31, 2003
Istanbul, Turkey — Evteks 2003, an annual fabric and home textiles show considered to be the second-largest market of its kind in the world, is set for May 21–25 at the CNR Expo Center here.
Turkey is a fast-growing source of fabric for upholstery manufacturers, and the 2002 edition of Evteks drew nearly 80,000 visitors from 71 countries who shopped almost 500 home textile exhibitors.
In addition to upholstery fabric, product segments represented at the show include top-of-the-bed, draperies, table linens, kitchen textiles, bedroom and bathroom products, embroidery, sheers, sunscreening fabrics, wall coverings and accessories.
The fair's sponsors are the Turkish Home Textile Industry Assn., or TETSD, and the Home Textile Assn., or ETD.
