High Point — California case goods manufacturer and importer Highland Design is debuting an expanded showroom at the market here.
The new space at 415 Furniture Plaza gives the company 4,000 square feet of display area. Highland Design will show more than 40 new designs in its new space.
The company has exhibited here several times on a limited basis, sharing a space in the showroom of upholstery manufacturer Alan White.
Founded in 1992, Highland Design manufacturers bedroom, home office and multimedia furniture at its plant in Carson, Calif., and imports from China.
In 2001, Highland Design purchased the plant and equipment of the Wexford Collection from The Rowe Companies. Highland re-launched the Wexford Collection as an import line at the San Francisco market in July 2002.
