Interline Italia debuts quick-ship program

High Point — Italian leather producer Interline Italia launched a quick-ship program at market called Ready-to-Go.

The program features a selection of best-selling models from the In Linea promotional line, with each group offered in three colors. Pieces will ship from Italy within 48 hours from receipt of order, said Johne Albanese, president and chief executive officer of Interline Italia N.A., and there are no container restrictions.

Orders will arrive at the retailer's warehouse within three-and-a-half weeks or the dealer gets a discount, he said.

Interline Italia will stock merchandise at its facilities in Matera, Italy, packed and ready to go, said Vito Urgo, general director of the company.

Retailers will receive point-of-purchase materials, including Ready-to-Go signage and leather swatches for each group on their floors.

The company also has updated its Web site, www.interlineitalia.com. The site's dealer-only area will be used initially to deliver advertising materials, but soon will allow retailers to track all orders online.
