Kingsdown gives $100K to hospital

Mebane, N.C. — Kingsdown has made a $100,000 contribution to Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
"During just the past two years, Duke University Medical Center has enhanced the lives of many of our employees, including four senior executives," said Eric Hinshaw, chairman and chief executive officer of Kingsdown. "The care and research accomplished by this world-renowned institution and its affiliates, such as the Center for Living and Duke Children's Hospital, continues to affect the lives of millions around the world. We are thrilled to be able to make a contribution to their continued lifesaving work."
Duke University Medical Center is consistently rated among the top hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report and operates one of the country's largest clinical and biomedical research enterprises.
Founded in 1904 in Mebane, N.C., Kingsdown serves retailers across the United States and in over 20 other countries. Manufacturing and distribution centers are in Winchester, Va.; Muskogee, Okla.; Lakeland, Fla.; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Toronto.
