Joslyn leaves Master Design
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, April 27, 2003
Ontario, Calif. — Norman Joslyn has been released from his position as president of sales and marketing for case goods and occasional importer Master Design.
Harry Lo, chief executive officer, said the decision for the change came after the recent High Point market.
"We need a management team based in Ontario, and he could not move here," Lo said. "We are going to review certain candidates for the position, but we have not made a decision yet."
Joslyn came to Master Design in 1999 as vice president, with responsibility for sales and marketing. He was named president of sales and marketing after Lo — also a senior executive with Master Design parent company, Test Rite International — came in as chief executive officer in March 2002.
Before joining Master Design, Joslyn held executive posts at Magnussen/Presidential, Mission Furniture and Universal.
