Ethan Allen revamps team

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, May 4, 2003

Furniture retailer and manufacturer Ethan Allen has revamped its management team.

Jack DeKorne has joined the company as vice president of merchandising. Edward Teplitz has been promoted to vice president and general manager of the retail division, and Sandra Lamenza named to the new post of vice president of marketing for the division. Corey Whitely has been promoted to vice president of operations for the company, and Jeffrey Hoyt promoted to vice president of finance.

Teplitz and DeKorne both ran licensed Ethan Allen stores before joining the company. Teplitz owned and operated six Ethan Allen stores before joining the company in 2001. DeKorne ran his family's four stores in western Michigan.

Lamenza joined the company's training department in 1988 and has held various marketing positions. Whitely has been with the company for 15 years, managing retail operations and information system implementations. Hoyt joined Ethan Allen last August as director of financial reporting.
