Colorado Springs, Colo. — ProfitSystems, a provider of Windows-based retail furniture software, has released Version 10.1, which offers new features and streamlined processes.
ProfitWindows is now fully integrated with Micro-D's PreVue video cataloging software, which the company said saves time, prevents errors and improves customer satisfaction.
The delivery module has been enhanced with the ability to require delivery charges. ProfitSystems said the feature would help stores looking to increase revenue and control delivery costs.
The module also allows retailers to specify capacities for each delivery truck, by piece, weight, number of stops and dollar value, or any combination thereof, which should help prevent overbooking and overtime.
In addition, a comprehension delivery manifest can be printed with delivery receipts, providing drivers with the address, number of pieces, number of stops and value of each delivery. Also, Routeview truck routing software has been integrated into ProfitWindows to increase efficiency by mapping the most direct routes, the company said.
ProfitWindows also includes the Managers Dashboard, which provides information on demand throughout the day on cash transactions, cash group accounts, inventory, receivables, payables, and written and delivered sales totals, for the day and for a selected date range.
The company said product returns and exchanges are now handled on a single ticket along with the replacement merchandise. Also, Trax sales floor opportunity management software has been integrated to help implement customer relationship management best practices, close rates and ticket values.
