Bacon's addition features galleries

Port Charlotte, Fla. — Bacon's Furniture Galleries has opened a 25,000-square-foot addition to its store here.
The addition, which represents two years of planning and construction, brings the total square footage to 73,000.
The new area houses several major gallery presentations, including Lexington Home Brands, Drexel Heritage, Thomasville, Broyhill, Lane and Norwalk, as well as other lines.
Bill Bacon, store president, said the 10,000-square-foot Lexington gallery is the largest single display of Lexington products in Florida.
In addition to totally accessorized presentations, the store features computers which allow customers to access manufacturer Web sites and to see how various fabrics will look on upholstery frames.
