House of Denmark debuts 6th unit

Specialty furniture retailer House of Denmark has opened its sixth store here in Holly/Clarkston near I-75.

The 18,000-square-foot store on East Holly Road offers transitional and contemporary furniture with Scandinavian and European influences from 250 manufacturers, including Ekornes, Skovby, Natuzzi, Jesper, Baronet, Amisco and Elite.

A 70,000-square-foot facility adjacent to the new store serves as the company's headquarters and distribution center.

House of Denmark's other stores, all in Michigan, are in Rochester, West Bloomfield/Keego Harbor, Acme/Traverse City, Okemos/Lansing and Livonia. Shawn Olsen is director of retail.
