Suppliers support scholars

High Point — The Suppliers division of the American Furniture Manufacturers Assn. has named this year's winners in its scholarship program.
Recipients are Jonathan Besecker, son of Tammy Sue Besecker, Thomasville Furniture Inds.' Carysbrook, Va. plant; Crystal Bryson, daughter of Pamela Bryson, Stanley Furniture, Robbinsville, N.C.; Heather Chapin, daughter of Carlina Ferguson, Founders Furniture, Appomattox, Va.; Aaron Kenkel, son of Judy Kenkel, Flexsteel Inds., Dubuque, Iowa; and Kristen Wilfong, daughter of Nanci Wilfong, Century Furniture, Hickory, N.C.
The scholarship program is open to children of regular, full-time employees of AFMA member companies. To raise money for the scholarships, AFMA's Suppliers Division holds two annual golf tournaments, one in Tupelo, Miss., and one in Clemmons, N.C.
