High Point — The Carolinas Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Assn. will hold its 10th annual Market Furniture & Accessory Benefit Sale May 30–31 at the Radisson Hotel Ballroom in downtown High Point.
The hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 30 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 31.
"We decided to offer new extended hours to help consumers who want to shop on their lunch hour or after work, and may not be able to come to the sale on Saturday," said Susan Connor, chapter president. "They will find wood and upholstered furniture, lamps, accent items and accessories, all at or below wholesale cost."
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Furniture Discovery Center, High Point University's home furnishings program and the Carolinas Chapter's educational programs, including scholarship support for the interior design program at East Carolina University and the Ruth Clark scholarship for furniture design at N.C. State University.
