Foam supplier has help line

Hickory, N.C. — Bedding producers with questions about proposed flammability standards have a new resource for help. Supplier Hickory Springs has created a telephone help line about foam that will assist customers with a variety of issues, including flammability standards.
"Hickory Springs has always worked hand in hand with our customers to satisfy regulatory requirements," said Bobby Bush, vice president of the company's foam products division. "With this program, we are formalizing and expanding the assistance process."
Each caller to the company's toll-free help line — (888) HS-FOAM1 — will be greeted by a real person in the Hickory Springs Foam Technology Department, and will be referred to one of several specialists in the department. Hickory Springs has decades of experience with foam performance properties, research, foam quality, furniture and bedding flammability, and environmental and health issues.
The help line will be staffed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
