Sumter taps Hollomon
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, June 22, 2003
Sumter, S.C. — Solid-wood case goods manufacturer and importer Sumter Cabinet has named veteran executive Jim Hollomon as vice president of sales and marketing.
He replaces Bill Utley, who left the company earlier this year. Hollomon reports to Dennis Ammons, president.
Most recently, Hollomon was North American agent for Boxmark World Leather of Austria. Previously, he was vice president of sales for Elmo Leather of America, and partner and co-founder of Westchester Leather. Hollomon also has sales experience with Henredon Furniture and Southwood Reproductions.
Ammons said Sumter will benefit from Hollomon's diverse experience in senior-level sales and marketing and his knowledge of high-end case goods and the home furnishings industry.
