Sphinx taps Robetor

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 23, 2003

Douglas Robetor has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president of sales/national sales manager for rug supplier Sphinx by Oriental Weavers.

Robetor has been Sphinx's southern regional manager for the past three years. Blake Dennard succeeds him in that post.

Robetor has been in the floor covering industry since 1975. He was the southern regional manager and the director of national accounts for Gulistan Carpets before joining Sphinx in 1999. In his new post, he reports to Mike Riley, executive vice president of sales and marketing.

Dennard joins Sphinx from an independent area rug sales agency, Dennco Sales & Marketing. Previously, he was the director of Canadian sales and marketing and the divisional manager of Waverley for Beaulieu of America. He will report to Robetor.
