Galvins opens home office design studio
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 23, 2003
Oakland, Calif. — Galvins, a 25-year-old San Francisco Bay area furniture retailer, has opened a design studio specializing in home office furniture in its store in Oakland's Rockridge District.
"Today's home office needs are getting much more sophisticated," said Barry Galvin, the store's owner. "It's no longer unusual to design home offices to accommodate two people with separate computers."
Galvins' two stores display home office furniture in vignettes. Major suppliers are Techline Studio and Jesper.
The company's second store is in Redwood City on Veterans Boulevard.
