Martin launches public relations firm

New York — Anne Martin has left WestPoint Stevens to launch her own public relations and Web site development company specializing in home furnishings.
Anne Martin Marketing Communications has offices here and in Greenville, S.C., and focuses on business-to-consumer, business-to-business, wholesale and retail channels, Martin said.
She was director of marketing communications at WestPoint Steven for the past five years. Prior to that, she held the same position at FSC Wallcoverings, a division of F. Schumacher & Co.
In her 18-year industry career, Martin has received the International Furnishings & Design Assn.'s Circle of Excellence Award for public relations, as well as awards for print advertising and newsletters.
Martin has served on the board of IFDA and is a member of a steering committee for Executive Women in Home Textiles.
