Jasper, Ind. — John Dick has been named chief financial officer and vice president for Flexcel, Kimball International's contract furniture manufacturing business.
Dick will be responsible for financial planning and reporting for Flexcel, including financial, business risk and acquisition analysis, internal controls, reporting accuracy and integrity, and regulatory compliance. He has more than 20 years experience in global financial reporting. He has worked for companies such as Peat Marwick Mitchell, Hyster, SCI Systems, Sparton Electronics and Solectron.
Lane Home Furnishings
Tupelo, Miss. Larry Witcher has been promoted to executive vice president/chief financial officer of Lane Home Furnishings.
Witcher has worked in the producer's financial department for 30 years, most recently as senior vice president/CFO. His financial responsibilities now include all of Lane Home Furnishings, as well as Laneventure in Conover, N.C.
Sumter Cabinet
Sumter, S.C. Steve Wilson has joined case goods maker Sumter Cabinet Co. as vice president of sales and marketing.
Wilson previously was a marketing representative for Fine Furniture Design & Marketing. Prior to Fine Furniture, he was in senior sales management posts with Lexington and Universal.
Tempur-Pedic
Lexington, Ky. — Peter Schmidt has been promoted to vice president, specialty retail and contract sales at Tempur-Pedic.
He will manage the mattress maker's specialty retail division.

Creative Woodwork Intl.
Minneapolis — Buck Campbell has been named principal designer for Creative Woodwork International.
He has designed residential, retail and restaurant furniture since 1995, and is the winner of national and international design awards.
Campbell holds a bachelors of fine arts degree in furniture design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
