  • Movie Madness: Numerous producers are either expanding home theater seating offerings or entering the category for the first time.

  • Love that Leather: As leather prices continue to fall, producers are making more extensive use of leather and leather/vinyl covers on motion sofas retailing for less than $1,000.

Ashley IHFC H-900

  • Introducing a dual reclining sofa at $599, and expanding its presence in the home theater category with several new pieces.

  • Unveiling several table groups that coordinate with motion pieces.

Berkline IHFC C-754

  • Unveiling an entertainment seating group, available in 10 configurations. The group can accommodate three to six people and is available in a variety of faux suede and velvet covers.

  • Introducing four reclining sofas with wood trim that match a correlating occasional table group.

Catnapper IHFC W-348

  • Strengthening its motion sofa assortment with three new models at $799 and two at $699.

  • Unveiling two contemporary motion sectionals at $1,499 and $1,699 in fabric, and a third new sectional at $1,999 in leather/vinyl.

  • Making its debut in the home theater category with seating pieces that feature rocker/recliner mechanisms.

Elite Leather PCH Center, 3rd floor

Expanding its home theater offerings with a seating group featuring power reclining mechanisms and clean contemporary styling, available in 175 different leathers and 96 faux suede colors.

Flexsteel IHFC C-558

Adding Beverly Hills, a home theater seating group that features a leather-like urethane cover. A four-seat configuration retails for $1,999, including wedges with storage units.

Franklin IHFC W-746

  • Adding a traditional reclining sectional with chaise at $1,799.

  • Adding a pair of reclining sofas. One sofa, at $1,099, features transitional styling and a leather/vinyl cover, while a new model at $699 has contemporary styling and a chaise.

La-Z-Boy FP 103

Making its debut in home theater seating with a multi-piece group that is available in numerous configurations. Features include a recliner with a retractable cup holder, and seating pieces with a snack tray and storage drawer. Seating pieces have a welted pillow back and pillow seat cushions.

Lane IHFC C-800

  • Introductions include a contemporary motion sofa with a two-seat design at $799 in fabric or $1,299 in all leather.

  • Introducing a transitional motion sofa at $899 in fabric and $1,299 in leather/vinyl, as well as a casual contemporary, three-seat sofa at $799 in fabric and $1,399 in leather/vinyl.

Palliser 220 Elm-400

Adding to its home theater assortment with a four-seat unit that features arm storage compartments and a full-size sleeper. Retail will be $1,999 to $2,999, depending upon the configuration and cover selection.
