The Fu-Chest collection, available in three styles, meets the need for a convenient, compact occasional futon bed. The chest disguises its ability to open up into a full-length bed. The chest top becomes the headboard when the futon is opened. Retails are under $800.

Introducing three additions to its flagship Posture Series collection. All three feature non-turn construction in choices of firm, plush and pillow-top versions, retailing from $599 to $799 in queen. Two of the three models offer a foam-encased perimeter enclosing a reduced size 660-coil, high-profile innerspring unit.

Boyd Specialty Sleep NFM 709
Introducing its new Aqua Lite III, a patent-pending mattress that combines the comfort of a traditional hard-sided waterbed with the convenience of a conventional bed. The 8-inch deep mattress is constructed to industry standard sizes and therefore uses conventional bedding. A tri-zone foam base supports the flotation system. It will retail at $699 in queen.

Introducing 12 models in the Tension Ease line, featuring the Quatracoil system exclusive to Englander in the bedding arena. In that system, four encased coils are bonded together to provide synchronized support. The single-sided bedding line retails from $499 to $1,299 in queen.

Also introducing three one-sided beds in the 21st Century Sleep collection. All feature the Adjusta-Comfort patented design that allows each sleeper to choose his or her own comfort level. A $799 model is cushioned with polyurethane foam, while a $999 box pillowtop offers visco-like or latex-like polyurethane constructions. The $1,499 model offers a choice of visco-elastic or latex foam.

Introducing a collection of bedding featuring foam-encased coil constructions. The mattresses are marketed under the USA Posture Therapy brand and are maintenance-free products that never need to be turned. Fraenkel says it is the first company to offer fully foam-encased innerspring beds from $399 retail.

Introducing its new Visco Opulence futon, which combines two one-inch thick, temperature-sensitive visco layers, two eight-inch thick batts of super slick, densified polyester fiber, and two 2-inch thick layers of 1.8-density HR foam. The futon features a full 22 inches of what Gold Bond says are the industry's finest support materials. The futon is double-stitched, lace-tufted and condensed into its 12-inch, high-profile, heavy-duty cotton twill outer shell. The model is expected to retail at $499 in queen.

Featuring three lines of bedding carrying the Royal Warrants of the Queen and the Queen Mother. The beds retail from $3,600 to $4,800 in queen and offer a number of exclusive features.
Kingsdown IHFC H-704
The company's DormoDiagnostics line expands with the Co-Z (Co-Zoned) and Vz (Vertical Zoning) mattress sets, each of which provides different comfort levels in the same mattress. The layers of carefully researched foams and fibers in the models are stacked in such a way that each person sinks to his or her appropriate comfort and support level. The beds retail at approximately $3,499.
Producer will also be launching a new version of software for its DormoDiagnostics computer profiler system. The new, more user-friendly interface offers a sleek look, additional features and improved technology. The DormoDiagnostics line starts at $1,499 in queen.

Introducing a new electric adjustable bed, NaturaFlex, which fits in a conventional bed frame. The latex mattress has a wool topper pad. A dual king retails at $2,999.

Sealy Office Parkway, Trinity
Introducing the biggest change in the history of its best-selling flagship Posturepedic line. New technology and construction will be used to produce superior comfort and support characteristics in an all-new, single-sided Posturepedic line, which is slated to hit retail floors this summer. Sealy says the new line was developed after extensive consumer and retail research.

Again showing with Largo International, Serta is unveiling select models of the Perfect Sleeper and Perfect Night lines, including Serta's new visco-elastic foam mattress, the Perfect Sleeper Body Pillow.

Also being shown are select models of the upscale Masterpiece line, including beds with a luxurious new Visco-elastic Cradle Foam system. That system includes the exclusive ComfortQuilt construction, in which high-loft fibers or non-allergenic fibers are quilted to convoluted foam, relieving high-pressure points and improving circulation, thus delivering a sounder sleep. The Vizcaya and Vibrato beds feature the new Cradle Foam system. Other Masterpiece models feature Sensifiber with the patented Outlast feature, an exclusive temperature regulation technology.

The company's Simmons Futons line will showcase two new futon mattresses. The Enchantment retails for $249 and offers retailers an alternative innerspring to the successful Beautyrest line. The Sublime retails for $199 and represents an enhanced version of Simmons Futons' most successful cotton- and-foam model.
