Toccoa, Ga. — Thomas Skipper has joined Habersham Furniture as vice president of sales, a new position at the high-end manufacturer of hand-painted case goods and occasional.
Skipper, who reports to Habersham's president, Matthew Eddy, will oversee the sales force.
"Our company has experienced significant growth in recent years and we felt it was time to bring in a seasoned industry leader who could help us fine-tune and strengthen our sales strategies," Eddy said. "Tom's extensive furniture industry experience and proven background made him the perfect candidate for this vitally important new position. We fell truly blessed to have him on our team."
Skipper worked for 21 years at Drexel Heritage, where he served in a number of management positions in sales, distribution and store and gallery development. Previously, he was a sales representative for Thomasville.
