Pennsylvania House
Lewisburg, Pa. — Dale Beagle has been appointed senior vice president of sales and marketing at Pennsylvania House. He reports to Tom Tilley, Pennsylvania House president.
Beagle has been with the company for 22 years, in positions including field sales, senior sales and marketing management.
Prior to joing Pennsylvania House, Beagle owned a home furnishings store for 10 years.
Sphinx by Oriental Weavers
Dalton, Ga. — Bob Lakenan has been named director of business development for rug resource Sphinx by Oriental Weavers.
Based in Columbia, Md., he will specialize in new business opportunities with mass merchandisers and the domestics market.
Lakenan has over 30 years experience in the rug industry, most recently with Kas Oriental.
Mayo
Texarkana, Texas — Sam Hayre Jr. has been named Salesman of the Year at upholstery manufacturer Mayo, the third consecutive year he has won such recognition.
Based in Arkansas, Hayre has been with Mayo for 14 years.
He was honored for achieving sales goals, opening new accounts and for retail sales training efforts, said Don McCoy, Mayo vice president.
Flexcel
Jasper, Ind. — John Dick has been named chief financial officer and vice president for Flexcel, Kimball International's contract furniture manufacturing business.
Dick will be responsible for financial planning and reporting, including financial, business risk and acquisition analysis, internal controls, reporting accuracy and integrity and regulatory compliance.
He has over 20 years experience in global financial reporting and has worked for companies such as Peat Marwick Mitchell, Hyster, SCI Systems, Sparton Electronics and Solectron.
Lane Home Furnishings
Tupelo, Miss. — Larry Witcher has been promoted to executive vice president/chief financial officer of Lane Home Furnishings.
He has worked in the company's financial department for 30 years, most recently as senior vice president/chief financial officer.
Witcher's financial responsibilities include all of Lane Home Furnishings, as well as Laneventure in Conover, N.C.
