Intellitek appoints Bradford, former Dell exec, VP of sales
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, March 9, 2003
Omaha, Neb. — Furniture industry software provider Intellitek has hired a former Dell Computer executive, George Bradford, as vice president of sales.
The position had been vacant for about a year and its duties have been redefined, the company said. Bradford, who will be based in Austin, Texas, reports to Wendy Shaffer, senior vice president.
Bradford has been in sales and sales management for 15 years, most recently overseeing Dell's new business acquisition in the Midwest.
He said he has a "unique opportunity" at Intellitek.
"Our job at Intellitek is to improve on the process that is already in place in the furniture industry with technology and services while having the know-how to take you to the cutting edge when you are ready," he said.
Intellitek said it is focused on improving the furniture industry's current custom-order process. From the birth of a new style or design concept to the sale to the consumer, the company has products and services aimed at speeding the flow of accurate information to all parties.
