Furniture sales rep Stanley Rosenberg dies at 91
Worked in industry for more than 50 years

Rosenberg spent more than 50 years in the furniture industry, beginning as a buyer for Sach's Quality Furniture.
He soon moved to Bassett Furniture, where he worked as a sales rep for more than 20 years. While at Bassett, Rosenburg teamed with David Druckman to form one of New York's top sales training organizations. Rosenberg ended his career at Vaughan-Bassett, where he became one of the manufacturer's top shippers. He retired from the company at age 80.
Rosenberg was key in the formation of the Greater New York Home Furnishings Assn., serving as president. He was also active in the Anti-Defamation League and other charities.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters; two sons-in-law, Yoav Meron of Vaughan-Bassett and Mark Sample of Lifestyle Enterprise; and six grandchildren.
