Caribbean trip snowed under

Atlanta — The giant winter storm that buried much of the Northeast during Presidents' Day weekend did more than just close stores.
It also postponed the fun for a few topnotch store managers and salespeople.
Atlanta-based chain Storehouse was set to take about 20 of its top-performing store managers and sales associates on a weeklong trip to the Dominican Republic as a thank you for their hard work.
On Presidents' Day.
With airports closed and road crews still plowing roads, "many people couldn't get out," said Storehouse President Caroline Hipple. "So we decided to postpone."
