Therapedic, Soft-Tex team up

Middlesex, N.J. — Bedding maker Therapedic, based here, has entered into a cross-marketing alliance with Soft-Tex Manufacturing, a producer of bedroom pillows, comforters, featherbeds and covers.
Under the agreement, Soft-Tex, based in Cohoes, N.Y., will be manufacturing and marketing a special line of Therapedic brand pillows for that producer's furniture and sleep shop retailers throughout the United States.
"In today's marketplace," said Therapedic President Michael Pino, "it is essential that we as manufacturers bring everything we possibly can to make business easier for our retailers. With Soft-Tex Manufacturing's alliance, we have created a program for furniture stores and other retailers to complement their bedding sales with a quality product, at competitive prices that will bring in important additional revenue for the store."
The Therapedic brand of pillows will include Soft-Tex's Soft-loft gusseted bed pillow and Foreverloft hypo-allergenic and "animal friendly" down-alternative pillows. The pillows are machine washable and dryable and carry the Therapedic label.
