A-America backs Seattle Ronald McDonald House

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, February 17, 2003

Case goods importer A-America joined forces with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington to furnish a number of rooms in the bone marrow transplant wing of the new Ronald McDonald House here.

The new facility will be next to the Seattle Children's Hospital, known for its groundbreaking medical advances in treating children's illnesses.

"Since the families using these apartments are at the Ronald McDonald House for lengthy stays, we wanted furniture to make them feel like they were in their own homes," said Fred Rohrbach, president and chief executive officer of A-America.
