SEHFA starts scholarship

High Point — The Southeastern Home Furnishings Assn. has established a scholarship for college students whose studies relate to the home furnishings industry.
First preference for scholarships will be given to rising juniors and seniors majoring in a business management. Applicants must be residents of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi or northwest Florida.
To be eligible for the $1,000 scholarship, students must demonstrate academic excellence, be a full-time student and exhibit integrity. Financial need will be considered, but will not be a primary factor.
