Robert Michael Craven, Fairfield rep

Robert Michael “Mike” Craven, a sales representative for furniture manufacturer Fairfield Chair for the past 10 years, has died. He was 58.

He graduated from DePauw University, where he lettered in baseball, and entered a career in sales. He stared in the shoe industry with Timberland and lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 20 years.

At Fairfield for the past decade, he represented the company in Maryland and Virginia.

He is survived by his mother, eight brothers and sisters, and 19 nieces and nephews. His brother Mark is Fairfield's vice president of sales and brother Jim is a rep in Tennessee, Kentucky and part of Arkansas. Their late father, Ronald A. “Tex” Craven Jr., also was a longtime Fairfield Chair rep.
