Wissman appointed VP at High Point Furniture
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, February 2, 2003
High Point — Office furniture veteran Mike Wissman has joined producer High Point Furniture Inds. as vice president of sales and marketing.
Wissman has more than 30 years in the business with All-Steel, Samsonite Contract Furniture, Bevis and, most recently, Tate Access Floors.
At HPFI, he reports to Spencer O'Meara, president and chief executive officer of the midmarket home office specialist.
Wissman replaces Vince Cvinojvic, a veteran flat-pack and small office/home office executive who left High Point Furniture Inds. to become U.S. agent for Shaw Wood Furniture, a Canadian-based maker of solid-wood, ready-to-assemble furniture.
