By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, February 9, 2003
High Point — Ital Art Design, a designer and importer of European-styled furniture and accessories, has acquired the Classic Gallery showroom building at 115 S. Hamilton St.
The company, which exhibited at Showplace in 2002, will move its showroom to the second floor of the Hamilton Street facility.
Ivan Garry, the owner of High Point Furniture Market Services and broker for the transaction, said Classic Gallery will remain as a tenant, as will Solo Furniture, the company that had owned the building since 1996. Classic Gallery and Solo will occupy the first floor of the 30,000-square-foot building, Garry said.
