Summer Rug Market rescheduled to July 13–16

Atlanta — AmericasMart Atlanta has rescheduled the Summer International Rug Market for Sunday, July 13, through Wednesday, July 16.
The new dates bring the rug market into closer alignment with the Atlanta Gift and Home Furnishings Market, which runs from Tuesday, July 8, through Thursday, July 17. Traditionally, the rug event takes place immediately following the gift show.
"This move places the rug show in the heart of the gift and home furnishings market during the most heavily attended days," said Chas Sydney, vice president of floor coverings for AmericasMart. "This crossover is something that has been evolving over the years and should help boost the rug industry. The January market dates will continue as in the past."
He said the Mart has secured additional hotel rooms for rug buyers and exhibitors.
