FFDM taps Ward for sales
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 19, 2003
High Point — Importer Fine Furniture Design & Marketing has added Howard Ward Jr. as a sales executive.
Ward had been vice president and national sales manager for bedding producer Kingsdown since last fall, and previously held sales posts at Pennsylvania House, Henredon and Thomasville.
Dan Grow, FFDM's chief executive officer, said Ward will join other sales executives calling on retailers across the country. The company doesn't have more specific job titles.
"Howard has one of the finest reputations in our industry," Grow said. "His background with leading upscale home furnishings companies will help reinforce our commitment to provide retailers with experienced sales executives to support and build their business with FFDM."
Fine Furniture is a subsidiary of Shanghai, China-based Fine Furniture Group. Kingsdown said last week it had not yet named a replacement for Ward.
