Opening night party attracts festive marketgoers

San Francisco — Several hundred attendees of the winter furniture market here turned out for the opening day market party, hosted by Furniture/Today and the San Francisco Mart.

Retailers, manufacturers and other market participants gathered on the ninth floor of Mart I to mingle over drinks and hors d'oeuvres, sponsored by Emerald Home Furnishings and the California Furniture Manufacturers Assn.
