Z-Tex offering new FR finish

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 5, 2003

Cotton fabric specialist Z-Tex is introducing a flame-resistant finish for its fabrics called Indura Ultra Soft Finish, which is provided by sister company Westex, a U.S.-based company that produces flame-resistant cotton fabrics for the global market.

Z-Tex will show Indura-finished decorative fabrics at Showtime this month in its showroom on the second floor at 320 South Wrenn St. in High Point.

Indura is designed to give an exceptionally soft, breathable, cotton fabric yet retain the characteristics of flame resistance, guaranteed for the life of the fabric. With more and more slipcovers being introduced in residential furniture, the finish is guaranteed to sustain the fire-retardant properties wash after wash, and still provide the soft feel of cotton.

Z-Tex also offers a base fabric with the Indura finish that has been prepared for printing, for customers' own designs.
