New York — Keith Seigerman, president of Seigerman Furniture, Farmingdale, N.Y., has been elected president of the Greater New York Home Furnishings Assn.
Joining him on the organization's board are manufacturer's rep Harris Kirsch, vice president and treasurer; David Goldstein, Universal, vice president; Mickey Talkov, manufacturer's rep, vice president; and Mark Sample, Vaughan-Bassett.

DuPont
Wilmington, Del. — DuPont, a chemical company that supplies the industry, has appointed three executives to new positions.
Daniel Smith has been named vice president and controller. He had been director of corporate accounting and reporting and assistant controller since 1992, having worked for the company since 1972 in various supervisory and management positions in DuPont Finance, including assignments in Asia and Mexico.
John Jessup has been named vice president and treasurer. He joined DuPont in 1974 as a financial analyst and has been vice president and controller since 1995.
Susan Stalnecker has been named vice president, government and consumer market in DuPont's safety and protection division. Stalnecker, who had been vice president and treasurer since 1998, joined DuPont in 1976 as a financial analyst.

Fort Worth, Texas — Paul J. Raffin has been elected to The Bombay Company's board of directors.
Raffin is executive vice president of merchandising of Express, Inc., a division of Limitedbrands. He has been with Express since 1997 and began his retail career in 1975 at Bloomingdale's, where he filled various positions until 1981.

Minneapolis — Select Comfort has elected Trudy Rautio to its board of directors.
Rautio is chief financial officer and executive vice president of Carlson Consumer Group, which includes Carlson Hospitality Worldwide and Carlson Leisure Travel. She was previously chief financial officer of Jostens, Inc. and a senior financial executive at The Pillsbury Company.
