Bashian Bros. sues Home Depot

Newark, N.J. — Rug importer Bashian Bros. has sued Home Depot and its Expo Design Center in U.S. District Court here for $710,665.
Bashian alleges that Expo left invoices unpaid for more than a year, and refused to honor an agreement with the rug company on a Hanging Partnership Program, which Expo recently terminated. Bashian said it supplied rugs on consignment to Expo Design Center stores throughout the United States.
Home Depot did not return telephone calls seeking comment.
