The Bay

Toronto — Rocco Romagnuolo has been named sleep shop buyer for Canadian department store The Bay. He was assistant case goods buyer for Sears Canada.

Romagnuolo reports to Alixe MacRae, divisional merchandising manager for furniture and appliances.

The Bay is looking for a case goods buyer after the departure of Christine Buckman, who had held the post for about 18 months.

Greenbaum Interiors

Paterson, N.J. — Fred Gannon has joined high-end retailer Greenbaum Interiors here as a designer.

Cannon was a senior designer at New York-based McMillen Inc. and has over 30 years experience in interior design.

Greenbaum Interiors, with a satellite store in Morristown, N.J., is marking its 50th anniversary this year.

Sales

Serta

Itasca, Ill. — Jody MacDonald has been appointed sales manager for Masterpiece Sleep Products, a subsidiary of Serta Inc.

He will assist with the marketing, advertising, training and sales for Masterpiece accounts throughout the country. He reports to Jim Moss, brand manager of Masterpiece.

MacDonald previously was a sales representative for Serta's licensee in West Palm Beach, Fla.
