Handwerker appointed VP at Feinblum

Bethpage, N.Y. — Julius M. Feinblum Real Estate has hired Mark Handwerker as vice president, bedding real estate.
He has over 15 years of industry real estate experience, most recently as vice president of real estate at Mattress Discounters, where he guided moves into California and the Boston, Pittsburgh and Detroit markets as the retailer grew to more than 200 stores.
Handwerker also was an independent broker for five years, working for furniture retailers including Ethan Allen.
"His expertise in the industry will allow our firm to continue the expansion of our services," said Julius Feinblum, president of the real estate firm, which specializes in the home furnishings industry.
Handwerker will be based in Feinblum's Gaithersburg, Md., office.
