At ABC Carpet event, every dog has its designer

New York — It's not every dog that has a birthday party in an upscale home furnishings store. But then Lulu, the spokesdog for Mitchell Gold Furniture, is not just any English bulldog.

In celebration, ABC Carpet & Home, Mitchell Gold and Metropolitan Home sponsored Paws for Design, featuring "doggie decor and canine couture" created by 15 designers and architects for the benefit of the Humane Society of New York. Designers included Mario Buatta, Clodagh, and Bob Williams of Mitchell Gold.
